Seung Gwon, MD, FACS, is a skilled aesthetic specialist and the president of Visage at the Vein Clinic in El Centro, Santa Barbara, and Murrieta, California, serving the Imperial Valley and Temecula Valley. She is board-certified in general surgery and can safely and successfully perform a diverse range of surgical and non-surgical services.
Dr. Gwon started her higher education as a Biology major at the University of California in Los Angeles, California. She earned both her master’s degree and her medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois, before completing surgical training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, and Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
Since completing her formal training, Dr. Gwon has expanded her resume and reputation extensively. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and keeps up with current advancements in the medical field through her membership in the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the California Medical Association.
Dr. Gwon currently has surgical privileges at El Centro Regional Medical Center in El Centro, California, and Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, California. She has also served as the Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff for El Centro Regional Medical Center.
